4YP is a multi-skilled team of professionals, all of whom have a successful track record working with young people and their families in a variety of roles, including career guidance, youth work, counseling, training, and supporting vulnerable families.

4YP’s Mission

  • To help young people become successful, contributing, and aspirational members of society.
  • To provide a range of professional services for young people through their schools and communities.
  • To help them make the right choices for their futures and help regenerate areas and communities by offering services that improve personal well-being and increase social inclusion.

4YP’s Values

  • Our values are the guiding principles of everything we do at 4YP, inspiring our behaviours and relationships every day.
  • 4Young People
We are young people driven. We’re focused on needs and outcomes, always looking for opportunities to do more, and provide young people with a bigger and better platform for success.
  • 4Integrity
We believe in doing the right thing and doing things right. We’re always professional (but with humanity and warmth), maintaining our high standards with a team of empowered staff to be the best they can be. We’re open, honest, and genuine, and when we say we’ll do something, we do it.
  • 4Bravery
Entering the unknown, being creative, and challenging convention fuels us; at 4YP, we’re super proud of our resilience and fight. We’re excited by the unknown that tomorrow will inevitably bring, and we seek out new opportunities.
  • 4Resourcefulness
We use our creativity and resourcefulness in our tenacious pursuit of positive outcomes for young people. We’re a small team, adaptable, and always have a ‘get it done’ attitude.
  • 4People
4YP is for people, by people. We treat everyone as an individual, remaining personable and friendly, and always giving a human touch. We listen, empathise, and believe in tailoring our approach to the needs of the individual.

4YP is committed to providing quality services and is passionate about supporting young people to make successful transitions into adulthood.

Across all their (4YP’s) provision is a core approach focussed on what young people are thinking and feeling; the development of options and choices is central to their project delivery. Raising aspirations is important to them in their youth work and careers guidance across all ages and settings. As one member of staff commented ‘its all about their development and walking alongside’
